Minnippi
I picked Mr P up at 6.50 and we were on site by 7. Quite a birdy morning – and very wet underfoot following a couple of days of rain. Nothing spectacularly new, but a morning’s list of 52 species was satisfying. The bird of the day was probably the 3 Australian Pipits on the Airfield – normally a single bird is an irregular occurrence, but 3 together was a first. An immature White-bellied Sea Eagle the only raptor.
Breakfast at 9 Bar with the usual future trip/bird discussion.
