Sandy Camp Wetlands
Mr D picked me up at 6, on site by 6.30. Cloudy, cool morning.
Normal Sandy Camp birding, nothing exceptional except possibly the number of Wandering Whistle Ducks – approx 40 – on the main pond. Usual number of photographers and civilians.
Water levels very low and potential for waders, crakes and rails high – but nothing out of the normal seen.
Breakfast afterwards in Stones Corner.
