Archerfield Wetlands 

Mr D picked me up at 6.15 and we were on site at 6.30. It was a ‘new’ area for both of us and appears to have become very popular in recent times. 

We didn’t find it particularly exciting with a long walk between where we entered – which was OK – to a virtually bird-less area of water and extensive reedbeds through open country that was very quiet.

We saw nothing of any significance and I didn’t even bother creating a spreadsheet.

We had breakfast at Art & Gusto in Sherwood afterwards.
