So, Israel has closed its embassy in Dublin – and accused the Irish government - in their usual hysterical, inaccurate, exaggerated, paranoid lies - of anti-Semitism.

Thankfully the Irish government has not backed down. 

They have made their position clear – they are pro international law, pro human rights and pro peace. There has never been a single anti-semetic statement made by any member of the Irish government. 

At last, a government standing up for what it believes in. Belatedly, but other governments around the world would do well to follow their example and make it clear that they are not happy with the continuing genocide of the Palestinian people under the fictitious heading of ‘Israel defending itself’. 

What Israel is doing is not defense; it is murder pure and simple. 

It is obvious that elements of the Israeli government want to eliminate the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank and, basically, don’t give a shit what anyone else says. Hence their invasion of Lebanon – and the slaughter of innocent people there, based, again, on the false pretense of ‘self defense’ and now, their invasion of Syria and their bombing there as they try to grab more land. 

Israel is the most aggressive player in the Middle East and is only able to continue due to the USA’s continued support. 

Biden’s legacy will be remembered as the president who allowed and condoned the slaughter of more than 45,000 people.

It worries me that here in Australia the government is being pressured into ridiculous laws that damage our democracy in the fallacy of ‘stopping ant-semitism’.

Criticizing Israel is NOT anti-Semitic, just as criticizing Russia is NOT anti Russian Orthodoxy. 

Israel is a well established country in its own right and needs to stop playing the ant-semetic card. They have had 70 years to get over the horrific events in Europe during the second world war, a tragedy we all condemn – and have had the support of all western countries during that time. 

But now its time to grow up and face reality. 

The Israeli government doesn’t give a shit about your hostages – they never have.

The Israeli government is super aggressive and causing most of the issues in the Middle East. 

Netanyahu and his mates are only interested in preserving their own position and power – regardless of who gets killed or hurt, including Israelis.

The IDF has been given unrestricted access to do whatever they need to do and have committed multiple war crimes and crimes against humanity.

 

One question I would ask members of the Australian government – do you support Israel’s continued aggression in Gaza and the West Bank?

If so – then you condone the slaughter of innocent women and children and are a party to genocide.

If not – DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, stand up for what is right and human and support International Law.
